Summary

I've been keeping my eye out for the price of XM Satellite radios to come down since it's inception...

Strength

Cheap, Versatile all-inclusive package

Weakness

Hard to read display, Worst customer service, can't leave it in the car when sunny

Bottom Line

Buy the Delphi SkyFi. It's not that much more, if any, in price, and you can actually read the display, and you won't have to deal with Sony!

Strength

You can swap unit between car and home, and the handy "memo" button remembers titles.

Weakness

Noisy fan, hard-to-use rotary dial, awkward to mount, and unit hangs.

Bottom Line

The DRN-XM01 was one of two units available when XM radio first came out, and a good radio at that time, but there are better units available now.
