Strength
Small narrow size, AVR, telephone and network protection, easy self testing or manual, etc.
Weakness
No coax surge protector.
Bottom Line
If you truly value your computer, a good UPC is a necessity you shouldn't avoid. A plain surge connector/power conditioner can't compare or protect as well as a UPS.
