ConsumerREVIEW.com Hires VP of Communities Carol Person Joins with
Twenty Years of Experience in Web and Print Publishing
SUNNYVALE, Calif., - August 3, 2000 - ConsumerREVIEW.com, the leading,
trusted source for consumer product information on the Web, today
announced the appointment of Carol Person as vice president of communities.
Person brings twenty years of editorial experience to the new post,
which will include the management and enhancement of eighteen vertical
Web properties. ConsumerREVIEW.com spans such enthusiast sites such
as AudioREVIEW.com, BabyGearREVIEW.com, ComputingREVIEW.com and
OutdoorREVIEW.com.

Previously, Person worked for media properties such as Imagine Media,
Cyberian Outpost and Macworld Magazine. Most recently, she was an
editorial consultant for Imagine Media's MacDaily Web site. Her
additional clients included Upside, Line56, Third Age and Peachpit
Press.

At Cyberian Outpost, Person served as editorial director, establishing
and maintaining the "voice" of the site. She also oversaw
the editorial staff and forged alliances with other editorial properties.
As executive editor of Macworld earlier in her career, Person helped
win several Computer Press and Maggie awards and was involved in
the creation of the magazine's first product rating system. She
was also involved in the launch of Macworld Online and served on
the Macworld Expo Conference Advisory Board. She attended the University
of South Dakota.
