Consumer-Generated Product Reviews From ConsumerREVIEW.com Now Available On eBay

SUNNYVALE, Calif., - July 16, 2001 ConsumerREVIEW.com, the leading, trusted source for consumer product information on the Web, today announced that it will provide eBay® (NASDAQ: EBAY; www.ebay.com), The World's Online Marketplace, with an extensive selection of reviews on the latest audio, computing, video gaming, photography, skiing, snowboarding and mountain and road biking products. In addition, eBay will be featured as a shopping service on a select number of ConsumerREVIEW.com Web sites.

"Reviews written by and for consumers are one more way to make buyers feel confident about the products they find on eBay," said Bob Hebeler, eBay vice president of categories and community. "Product reviews from ConsumerREVIEW.com are a perfect fit and will help to attract even more enthusiasts to our marketplace."

Reviews provided to eBay come from nine ConsumerREVIEW.com sites. The reviews are available within eBay's computers, consumer electronics, photo and sporting goods categories on thousands of related products. eBay users also have the ability to contribute their own reviews on these products. As part of the agreement, eBay will be added as a shopping service alongside individual product reviews on all ConsumerREVIEW.com sites. The new shopping service will allow ConsumerREVIEW.com users to automatically search eBay after reading a review on a particular product.

A total of 18 Web sites encompass the ConsumerREVIEW.com network of vertical communities, including sites such as AudioREVIEW.com, RoadbikeREVIEW.com and PhotographyREVIEW.com. In addition to product reviews, the sites offer product ratings, price comparison services and information on where to get the best deals.
